Course Description:
This course provides infant feeding therapists (OT, SLP, PT) foundational knowledge about breastfeeding to help clients achieve their breastfeeding goals. Areas of focus will include understanding the difference and similarities between breast and bottle feeding, impact of tethered oral tissues on breastfeeding, and approaches to common breastfeeding issues in the NICU/hospital and in the outpatient setting.
