The Mulligan Concept™ Mobilization With Movement™ Upper Quadrant course provides a comprehensive and in-depth approach to the manual therapy assessment and treatment of the cervical and thoracic spines in addition to the upper extremity. This two day course includes all inclusive lectures, patient demonstrations, and substantial lab time to allow participants to gain a complete intellectual understanding of the Mulligan Concept™ approach and the practical skill necessary to apply it in practice the following week.
This unique approach to active, pain free manual therapy was created by Brian Mulligan, and has been nurtured and further developed and researched by the Mulligan Concept Teacher Association. It is one of the simplest yet most effective approaches to manual therapy for musculoskeletal disorders. Within 2 minutes, the clinician can learn to establish the value of pain-free manual therapy forces that can restore pain-free functional movement with each individual patient. This course will teach the clinical reasoning and practical application of the Mulligan Concept for the Cervical Spine, Thoracic Spine, Ribs, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand. Clinicians will be able to take these skills and immediately apply them in their practice including follow up home programs and taping strategies to maximize patient recovery.
